★ BUTTONLESS BADGE / APP-CALCULATED SCORE / 0–100 ★

Your life.
One number.

NUMBR is a tiny wearable display for a single algorithmic score out of 100. Connect your public accounts and profile to the app; it evaluates your social reach, recognition, professional footprint, and personal context, then sends the result to the buttonless badge.

01

The device

The device is round, black, and the size of a bottle cap. Its ultra-thin body has a completely smooth edge with no buttons, switches, ports, or manual controls.

The face contains one thing only: the current score. No logo. No percentage sign. No explanation.

RANGE0–100
FACEMonochrome e-ink display · number only
CONTROLCompanion app · no controls on the device
BACKTwo-piece magnetic backing · clamps through fabric
POWERIntegrated photovoltaic ring · internal reserve cell
CONNECTIONBluetooth Low Energy · app-to-badge score sync
DATAThe badge receives the score only · profile data stays in the app

When the model recalculates, the app securely syncs the latest number to the badge. The wearer cannot alter the number on the device itself.

Illustrative model only. One exceptional account can score as highly as many smaller accounts; platform count alone provides no advantage.

03

What builds the score?

Many signals. One output.

The app verifies connected public accounts, normalizes their scale, and compares each signal with an appropriate peer baseline. Age and location provide context rather than a simple automatic bonus or penalty.

32%

Social reach

Instagram, X, TikTok, Weibo, Facebook, and other public networks are normalized before scoring.

23%

Engagement

A responsive audience matters more than a raw follower count with no interaction.

28%

Public + professional

Recognition, search presence, LinkedIn, public work, and network strength contribute together.

17%

Personal context

Age band, location, language, and relevant peer-group baselines provide context to the model.

IMPORTANT: “Human worth” is the product concept’s provocative label—not a scientific fact. NUMBR’s output is model-defined, contestable, and unsuitable for employment, housing, credit, healthcare, policing, or access to essential services.

The algorithm, made visible.

The backing magnet clamps through a shirt, dress, pocket, or bag without puncturing the fabric. After the app syncs, the number turns a private profile calculation into a public signal that is legible at conversational distance.

04

Frequently asked

Who chooses the number?

The NUMBR app calculates it. The wearer connects accounts and confirms profile information, but cannot manually choose the displayed result.

Which platforms can contribute?

Public signals can come from Instagram, X, TikTok, Weibo, Facebook, LinkedIn, search results, and other supported sources. The model normalizes platforms so having more accounts does not automatically produce a higher score.

Why include age and location?

They provide peer and cultural context for interpreting other signals. The model should disclose their effect and offer a correction and appeal process.

Can I change the number on the badge?

No. The badge has no buttons. A new number appears only after the app recalculates and syncs it over Bluetooth.

Is the score objective?

No. Every score reflects selected inputs, weights, assumptions, and incomplete data. It is an algorithmic product output—not a person’s intrinsic value.

How does it attach and charge?

A slim backing magnet clamps through fabric. A photovoltaic ring collects ambient light while an internal reserve cell keeps the e-ink number visible.
